Hello everybody! I've always been curios/interested in Laserdisc and just recently I bought my first player off of Craigslist. It's a Pioneer CLD-M90, but so far from what I've read, it's not the best out there. But hey, it's a start right? It came with the remote and is in near perfect condition. Though, every once in awhile it doesn't want to eject the tray (while the LD is loaded) and I either have to do a power cycle or manually open the tray door. I have to admit, before I discovered this forum, I never knew how in-depth collecting for Laserdisc is. From different cuts of movies to audio quality to the potential hardware for a set up! Outside of my new Laserdisc interest; I'm into collecting vinyl, not so much for getting the rarest records, but more for enjoying the experience of music. Hopefully the vinyl collectors had a good Record Store Day today! I'm sure as I read through the forum I'll have plenty of questions to ask! I'm looking forward to learning more about Laserdisc, what to look for, what to avoid, and any other tips or tricks. |
