I'm new to collecting LDs, but I love most retro tech. I have a decent sized (over 600) VHS collection, I still have my original Atari 2600 Lite (with ~50 games) etc etc.

I picked up a lot of over 100 titles to get myself started! Now I just need to find a GOOD LD player for a decent price and I'll be up and running!

As my first act as a member, I've submitted a cover photo for the movie Alamo Bay. Decent way to start on a new forum!

Welcome to the world of Laserdiscs ! I've been collecting and enjoying them for a few years now, and love them ! The nostalgia they bring is great. My only wish is that I would have gotten into them back in the day !

I'm also a recent recruit to the Laserdisc community!

Like yourself I have a collection of old Atari 2600 games along with a long list of handheld, home consoles & computers from the 80s and 90s. I look forward to you future input. Are you using a CRT to watch Laserdisc? A lot of console collectors prefer CRT, and in my humble opinion seems to work best with the composite output of laserdisc.

I've noticed this place can tick over quite slowly at times but it's always got a small group of die hard members willing to help out in any laser-related issues.
