Hello everyone,
I was recomended by my buddy cessnance from YouTube about this site and quickly signed up. Although LD's are not my primary collecting format I do pick them up when I see a good deal. I collect loads of formats from Beta/VHS to Bluray. My 2 main collecting formats atm have to be HD-DVD and Bluray Imports/Steelbooks. For the time being anyways ;) Just a quick introduction and look forward to my time here

Good day cefiro355,

Welcome to the site,

I have been a member of this site before this forum was kindly added by Mr Wilk, of which I purchased a number of laserdisc's from and also Mr Santini.

I think you will find that most, if not all of the members here have a number of other formats as well as Laserdisc.
Laserdisc wasn't just a format ''it was a whole experience'' that's why I and others enjoy this format so much.

I myself have the following formats : DVD, HD-DVD & BLU-RAY, but Laserdisc is my favorite.

Sincere Regards

i agree, benmbe.
i've heard that laserdiscs are so much better than vhs tapes.

i currently have more vhs tapes than dvd's, and more vinyl records than cd's or cassettes.
but i plan to get some laserdiscs within 2 years.

and full bitrate DTS audio. (example is the shadow dts laserdisc) sweet.

Hello newtolaserelie,

The Shadow DTS I totally agree I have both the US & Japanese versions, and cannot believe that I may purchase this on Blu-Ray just to compare if there is any difference in the sound.

The surround sound is amazing and is a joy to experience.

Casper is also as good.
