Hi everyone, I'm a 20 years old French that got hooked on LaserDiscs again by buying new titles for this format for the first time in about 15 years.
For as long as I can remember, I've always watched movies on LaserDiscs, so much so that I know by heart all the mechanical noise that my machine can make. I've got a Pioneer CLD D-925 that my dad bought back when it was brand new and now owns around 170 titles (I already owned around 130 titles before getting new ones 2-3 weeks ago).
All of them PAL and (proudly) rot free (except one I bought recently) thanks to (pro tip) the way we stored them, in a cold (less than 15°C) and dry place (the outside corridor that led into our backyard, but now living in an apartment, I'm stuck with having them inside). So if you really want to preserve your discs, just put them in a cold place to prevent the glue from "melting" over time.

Welcome, but how does this work, last time you bought LDs you were 5 years old??? I know your English is 99% better than my french but I think something go lost here. I know a few words, like 3 LOL. Glad you are here.
