Younger person here, been interested in older stuff almost my whole life but actually started acquiring records and the like just a couple years ago. Got my first 2 LD today and I felt it was a great find considering my musical interests! (The aesthetics of them fit) Hope I can chat with some of you and learn the ropes around here as I plan to frequent here. :D

Laserdisc is very good for older/obscure/out of fashion music form the 80's/90's.

The 2 Dream Machine LDs from Voyager is an interesting way to start a collection.
There are lots of Computer Animation LDs out there, most from Japan!

A man after my own heart I see.

You should check out the Mind's Eye series. I still need to pick up the other two volumes of the Dream Machine series myself.

Good luck and enjoy collecting LDs.

Really figure out what you want to focus on first before you start picking up too many copies of Speed or T2.

Greetings Vaporkave,

Welcome to the land of Laserdisc's I hope you enjoy each visit.

We all come from various backgrounds with different Skills, and the few are Laserdisc Technicians, that are really appreciated by so many here.

Never underestimate your input here as I for one, although I am not a regular visitor as I once was, this site still remains one of my Favourite destinations of choice.

I have gained some good friends here, and one in particular has become like a Brother to me, although in a distant land.

Keep in touch and share your experiences with us all here.

Sincerest Regards
