If you have the UK pressing of Animalympics, I'll give you five bucks for it.

Hello! I am new from Louisiana! Ebay uses cross referencing, so I managed to see some laser discs for sale, and now kind of got hooked! I bought some for Christmas gifts and a few nostalgia titles for myself, even a CED video disc of 1975 Rollerball! A buddy of mine has a working laserdisc player, which has inspired me to research titles (or additional footage) that exist ONLY on laserdisc, so that we can convert them to an MP4 format to be viewed via PC! I saw a Star Wars set of laserdiscs with some George Lucas interview footage, which got me curious as to whether it is on the DVDs. I'm sure it is, or some near equivalent, but it may be a worthy venture to offer laserdisc owners to rip their discs for the exclusive footage and send them their discs back, for a price; who knows?

Whoever you bought these off clearly looked after his LDs, most look to be in great condition including the early UK releases which you appear to have quite a few of.

Some are worth selling individually, the early UK released horror titles can sometimes go for more than expected but they can on occasions sit for ages - just takes one buyer though.

Have fun going through/watching the ones of interest to you & good luck selling the others - hope you do well.

Cheers

Hey I am new here, and glad to be part of the LDDB community! From using ebay, I got enticed by laserdiscs and bought a few for Christmas gifts, and a few more for myself. I like the idea of not wasting, so instead of throwing all of the laserdiscs into the dumpster, it is an awesome idea to make them collectors items, just like comic books! Youtube has this dude in the UK named "Techmoan" who made videos of repairing laserdisc players and CED players! It is amazing that something that can be a source of waste, becomes a hobby! I plan to use this site a good bit in the future! I hope you guys stay around! My friend has a working laserdisc player, and I have a video converter module that I use for VHS/VCR but can easily be used to rip LDs, especially for exclusive LD content, that never made it to DVD! I hope to educate myself more and use this site to it's fullest extent.

To better protect you laserdisc collection, I would highly recommend that you do not stack on top of each other or rings will appear on the covers.
