Hey.

Recently back into collecting. Slowly built up around 150 discs 10 years ago or so. Player went south so I cooled off picking up new titles. Recently my friend was forced to downsize his collection for an impending move and I inherited almost 1000 discs from him so I guess I'm back. Still need to pickup another player and I suppose another Kallax. I have most of the titles on LD I was already looking for and am not in the same vein of collector some of you are in but I'm here all the same. I'll probably look at filling out my Kurosawa collection in the future. Peace.

Hey welcome to the site!

Hopefully you find a nice player soon, it'd be maddening to have all those LD's laying around without a way to watch 'em.

Hello.

You may have had most of the LDs that you were looking for but with 1000 discs falling into your lap there are sure to be a few among them of interest, if nothing else you have got plenty to view for awhile when you get a player.

Hope you bag one soon.

Old foreign black and white movies are one of of LD’s specialties. You’ll fit in fine, at least half the people here love Kurosawa.

Kurosawa is easily one of the great directors. One of my favorite Japanese directors along with Mizoguchi, Ichikawa and Obayashi.
