Hello, I am David from a little place called Los Lunas. Last month I picked up a Pioneer LD-700 from my local Goodwill and it came with two LD. I couldn't get it to play very well, until I took off the top cover and cleaned the laser lens. I played the first movie in it's entirety, "Basic Instinct." I went to go and purchase some LD's that I really had my mind set on since I started to watch Anime since the early 2000's. Now my set up has this machine, a Zenith VR9800, a Hitachi VT-168EM VCRs and the PS3 to play almost every video format made in the past 45 years. Thanks you for your information here and the great shops here that have been fantastic and looking forward to be hanging out with you all here. |

Careful there... so many obsolete video formats that you'd need a room full of video decks to achieve this!! I'd humbly say "to play most of the commercially (or not so) successful video formats".
