Crazy a** me needed this pervy movie in my collection to see a young Brigitte Bako nakey in the highest definition possible. I paid a whopping 144.10 plus a 6.95 dollar gift card!!! Insanity how much gift cards sell for now a days at Walgreens! Keep in mind many of you may not know this but I had to actually walk, jog, or run to my local Walgreens to buy a gift card because I don't drive. I've seen this movie pop up only one other time online and it was selling for $20 a great price compared to what I paid for and I bought it then and seller claimed that they already sold it and didn't know why listing was up. Then I had to wait a year later for this movie to finally pop up on ebay with me searching daily for it and the seller on an auction was asking for $130 plus shipping and after tax it came to $144.10. I was paranoid someone might fight me for it and luckily no one did because i'm not sure i would have paid much more for it even though I had a ridiculous max bid on it. Won't even dare say what had on it but I probably may have had to bow out if it went any higher!

Tenchi Muyo in Love 2. It is a laserdisc sample disc. I won't know until i receive it and break the seal if it has the 35mm film cel and Soundtrack CD. Looks identical to the final release right down to the OBI. Except for the Sample stamped in the corner.

Because I'm a weirdo I wanted a movie in my collection that has a laserdisc appearance. It's also a rarer laserdisc title that I don't see pop up often.

Picked up a tiny shiny disc in the form of a xbox gaming adjunct CALLISTO PROTOCOL.
MEGHAN_YEAH and twitch streamer HOLYREAPER were streaming over the past few nights.
Patch for stuttering already issued and effective day one.

The game appears to be dead space on meth ! ! ! ( my comparison if I may ! )
Graphics, sound, and story are top notch in my opinion as well. ( I am biased reference Dead Space developer)

Ordered my Xbox Day One release December 02 .
Apologies for stretched thread entry !

Cheers to the membership !

I've bought a bunch lately but I will only list the ones I've paid off. I'm going to pay off others on Sunday on Ebay and hopefully the Buyers don't try to cancel any of them. Also need to pay off some on Friday because that will be 4 days in total. I have the money but my Dad needs to get his credit card situation worked out. So the three I'm posting on here I paid off. I will be posting more if the sellers allow me to purchase them. A couple of them I got a great deal on but I won't be able to post them until I can confirm the purchase. Also these 3 are in my possession and none of them have rot which is good. Rot is usually uncommon unless it's a known rotter. I do not like the price I paid for the Mummy. I think I overpaid and I was hoping the video quality would be a little better. It's not an ugly release by any means but when I compare it to Wild Wild West and Austin Powers I believe those two look a little bit better on laserdisc.

I don't know why my fascination about widescreen releases are because many widescreen releases are not great looking. As we all know ld's look better at 4:3 since you don't have to zoom in on 4:3. Though on our TCL 65 inch 4k tv I do a slight tiny zoom in because a lot of the 4:3 releases I have show some weird image lines on the right and sometimes left side and when I zoom in a little tiny bit it cuts that off. Also I think I seen slipping into darkness before with my Dad but he forgot about the movie entirely. I feel like I may have downloaded it off rarelust or wipfilms. Not sure wipfilms is around anymore since the last time I visited that website it was down. Anyways the laserdisc quality is definitely superior to the version of the film I seen with him awhile back. He didn't remember anything about the movie either but I started remembering parts when it was going on. I feel like I either had a VHSrip of it or maybe a poormans LDrip but not as good looking as the original source material. Yeah I watch a lot of weird obscure movies with my Dad. Also Unearthing is a movie I had never seen before until watching it recently on laserdisc and that movie is pretty good. I like that I don't recgonize any of the actors and the movie was just out there. It's not a great movie but it was entertaining popcorn flick and definitely another obscure movie that I'm glad I own on laserdisc. The laserdisc copy I bought was in poop condition but it only cost me about $18.51 dollars in total from ebay. Didn't want to spend 50-60 dollars for the laserdisc and the laserdisc itself plays perfectly fine.

Selling for $45.15 on ebay plus taxes. 39.99 plus 5.16 in shipping. I actually paid next to nothing for Slipping into darkness. I paid $11.31 but won the auction at 5.62. Seller had a buy it now for $5.99 but I and one other person sniped the auction with about 3 seconds to go and they lost the item to me. Was it one of you guys or gals that lost it to me? Lately I've been seeing shipping costs on laserdiscs because I guess people don't want to add free shipping to incorporate the price into it which might be a smarter move because people see the auction as low and ignore the shipping cost but overall I'd say for $11.31 I didn't do half bad. That's considered a cheaper laserdisc in my collection. 11 bucks to me is nothing.

Welp someone paid a ridiculous price for Silent Night Deadly Night laserdisc. I seen this laserdisc selling for around 75 dollars about 4 months ago and someone paid over 200 dollars for it on an auction on ebay. :lolno: I think I seen multiple copies of it below 100 around 4 months ago. So I don't know how RARE it really is. I do think over 200 dollars for that laserdisc is crazy.

Oh good, I was worried it was another title that had skyrocketed for some unknown reason of 80s obscurity.
I think that's about what I sold my copy for 10 years ago, it was an oddball film but for some reason isn't worth much yet.

The post office said about 4-5 months ago shipping rates were going to get higher due to holiday rush but going back down after :wtf:

All the costs going up nobody with any real sense can offer free shipping anymore.
If I pack an LD the cardboard has gone up so much that my local fools, er I mean local small business packing supply won't carry
so I have to order online, that cuts into my time etc, and this is why there are less cool things at reasonable prices online and elsewhere.

People are making more money at dunkin than selling stuff or reselling stuff.

Okay just paid off two more of my laserdiscs. I am left with one more to pay off and I hope Seller can be Nice and will let me pay off on Sunday because this next one is one I really want. I have two things to pay off on Sunday. One is a rarer uncommon laserdisc I got for a real nice price compared to what it usually sells around and the other is Silent Hill. The Silent Hill guy is upset with me. He wants me to pay before 1pm or 12pm or he'll relist it on Sunday. Sunday is not going to be a fun day for me because I'm going to have to jog to a store to buy a 7 dollar gift card and sometimes for whatever reason those can take about an hour or two to register. Paying that insane price for a gift card already sucks. My Dad informed me that he is really having issues with his credit card so I don't want to put hundreds of dollars on his credit card. So I am left with no real choice here. Also wish the Silent Hill guy was a little nicer but it is what it is. I think he wanted his game to sell for a little bit more and was pissed it didn't. It still sold for over 130 and what pisses me off about Silent Hill is that years ago I paid only 40-50 bucks for it about 4 years ago and then my idiot a** ended up selling off the game before I actually played all the way through it. Silent Hill 1 ps1 is one of the few games to even scare me. I got stuck in the game. It's a really good game. Silent Hill 1 is a bad a** game. I definitely want to pay for it seeing how for some odd reason the game now sells between 150-200 bucks!

Christmas Classics Series presenting Frosty, The Little Drummer Boy, Rudolph The Red Nosed-Reindeer and Santa Claus coming to town cost me a total of $53.30 but it was actually 43.00 with 6.99 shipping. I believe I slightly overpaid for this title but not shocking because it's Christmas season. I think I seen this same laserdisc in the past being sold for around 30-35 range on ebay. So I may have paid 20 dollars more but it is a rarer uncommon title. I think I only seen it pop up on ebay once or twice in recent times. With that said I can't wait until I see stop motion on laserdisc as well as the Frosty Cartoon. I'd imagine this is going to look pretty good on laserdisc since laserdisc excels at 4:3 aspect ratio. And for the second laserdisc I bought which I actually won on an auction before Christmas Classics I FINALLY got a copy of Tourist Trap for a great price. This laserdisc has come down in price in recent years and got a great price of $16.16 for it and I won it on the auction at 11.00 dollars so the rest was shipping and taxes to bring it up to 16.16. 16.16 really isn't much money at all to me but I felt embarrassed that I had to tell the seller he had to wait to be paid for that tiny amount of money but the seller was cool and understood the issues with the credit card. He was so nice that he even said I could pay him when ever and it wasn't an issue but did inform me that ebay sometimes automatically cancels the sales if not paid soon enough. I think that's normally like 5 days or 6 days where Ebay cancels it automatically unless seller doesn't want it cancelled.

The seller of Tourist Trap did have scratches are on disc but it did not effect playback for him. I forget which player he has but it might have been a lower end pioneer. If memory serves me correctly light scratches usually don't cause any issues with laserdiscs for most players. As many of your guys and gals know I am on a Panasonic LX-900 revision 1995 which I'm led to believe is the best of the Panasonic line of laserdisc players and my player still looks like it came out the box brand new. I clean the dust off the top of it every so often. I really care for it like it's my baby. I guess since I never had a child that this is my baby. It's kind of like a guy or woman that loves their car a lot. I feel that close to this player. I know that sounds a bit weird but whatever. Oh yeah as I was saying earlier this laserdisc has dropped in price in years. I remember when people were asking around 100 bucks for this same laserdisc but now I see copies floating between 60-50 dollar range on ebay. Don't know if any of the two people that lost to me in this auction ended up buying the other copy or copies I seen floating around since it has dropped a bit in price in recent times.
