If you had a choice between a CLD-97 elite or a DVL-919 which would you choose?

Pretty sure you can buy 3 DVL-919's for the price a 97 goes for these days.

The CLD-97.

I purchaced a new unopened item, just over four years ago from a seller in the US.

Even better why not email Duncan at Bayview electronic's, as he does a great job on servicing ELITE LD Players.

Obviously go for the ones that are up for sale that come from a none smoking home, well looked after, the original spec, or the AC-3 modification is an option.

Duncan can provide a kit, or fit one of these for you.

Regards to you

Put me down as a vote for the 97 too. no personal experience, but i've heard excellent things about it. but yeah, you're probably going to pay a bit more for it than you would for a dvl-919

I won the 919 so long as it works i will hold off buying more players but you never know till you receive it & plug it in. The last player i received a DVL-700 was DOA waited several weeks for a full refund.
