I'm making a trip to New York City in a few weeks, and will have a little time to shop around in Times Square before I make my return to Rochester. Do you guys know any stores in Times Square that would have any Laserdiscs or decent stock of Blu Rays?

nothing with LDs, last i rememember you would have to go down to st marks area for Lds.
but it was slim pickings about 6 years ago, and i think most are gone now.
BD is another story, don't know.

you could also check craigs, if someone has something have them bring it to you!!

just go into fye and ask where the laserdisc section is!

When I was in Chicago last summer I did just that in the local FYE store!
They had quite a selection of used vinyl so I figured there might be some used laserdiscs as well.
Unfortunately there were none but they did mention I should try Reckless Records for laserdiscs.

So I went to the 3 Reckless Record stores in the Chicago area and got some laserdiscs in two of them.....about 10 or so music titles that were really cheap...only a few dollars per title. Shipped them back to my home in UK as I couldn't be bothered carrying them home!

Can't really get anything of that sort in St. Marks either. Last good music and video store out there, Kim's Video, moved to a different location. Least last time I was there, a year or so ago, there wasn't much else to find.
