If anyone missed that urabanchou.com got a 20% sale on everything. They had some great muse titles, BTTF, jurassic park and so on, onyone here grabbed those ? Myself dont find muse so fun to buy since I cant play them. They still got some squeeze lds left duo. Also great price for young indiana jones box with the phone card. (150 usd !!)

Myself ordered:

Planète Sauvage, La (The Fantastic Planet) (1973) [BELL-41]
Children Shouldn't Play with Dead Things (1972) [NDH-008]
Fist of the North Star: The Movie (1995) [LSTD01241]
Small Soldiers (1998) [PILF-2768]
Shock Treatment (1981) [SF078-1273]
Fight Club (1999) [PILF-2835]

All movies that I wanted for a very long time but being to cheap I waited. Now its mostly free shipping with the discount.

Did anyone else grap something fun ?

They do a sale like that every couple weeks.
Highest off I can remember was 30%.

Tho the really annoying part is...
They seem to sell most of the interesting stuff on yahoo auctions...
So it never even gets enlisted in the on-line shop, or at DiscLegend. :(

I think they put out stuff they already have or lds that is not top notch condition on yahoo becouse I have never seen anything that isnt great condition on the website. But its true that they sometimes get some cool stuff at yahoo aswell.

just think that's how the japanese are.
they don't beat everything into pulp like we do, rolling comics into our back pockets etc.

lons_vex is right.

All the LD's in the Webstore are ok and often in great condition.
But the most interesting LD's (or rare) often goes on Yahoo Auction.

Best example are the Hi-Vision LD's.
Almost none on the website and every month or so, a few on Yahoo.

I think Recobanchou prefers to be paid in strong JPY as in weak USD.

I buy all year round from that store and don't pay too much attention to waiting for the sale as the best stuff disappears very quickly.

Ordered 2 more now after watching the recently added titles.

Sidekicks (1992) [MGLC-93043] One of those movies I had on vhs as a child, Chuck was king! Habe been near of buying the usa release a couple of times.

But I wouldnt have ordered that one if it wasnt for their sealed copy of SOLARBABIES! Didnt know it existed on a japanese release until I saw it today. Might be becouse it was called solarwarriors...

http://www.urabanchou.com/images/2008/09/09/img341.jpg - just a beautyful artwork. Dont know how rare it really is.
