picked up a copy of breakdown recently and i think it has one of the best side changes ive seen, the end of side a comes as kurt russell is knoocked out with a riffle butt quickly fading to black, then side b opens in darkness before you see the boot of a car open where our hero has obviosly been bundled the delay of the side change seems to add to the scean somehow Anyone else have any nominations for best or worse side change? i remenber watching a movie once that changed side halfway through a conversation

Just saw what is probably the worst side change ever over the weekend. Watched the classic adult film Taboo and the side change is right in the middle of ummm . . . an act of fellatio. The change is not even during a cut, but splits a single shot. It's made even worse because it's one of those older LDs with that stinking "LaserVision" bumper

I think some side changes can really change the tone of the film. For example I think the ones in Jurassic Park (1993) [41830] make the film seem more comical as each side break comes right after a joke (i.e. "That's a big pile of ...", "We're back in the car again").

Oh, man, I have to get a copy of that! This is a unique disc in another way. It's called a "Dual Disk" meaning you don't have to buy the OST. The analog is the actual program audio, the digital is the OST. I don't mean its an isolated OST with other elements removed, its just one track after another of the entire OST, just as if you bought it on CD. I don't know if A-Ko 3 is like this since I don't have it. I want to have it eventually.

Of course the Honneamise Memorial Boxes have the soundtrack album on the final side, along with the production art portfolio.

there have been a few that i've watched that i've actually laughed out loud at, the placement was so brilliant. it really seems like it was a Jim Carrey movie for some reason that made me crack up the most. Can't remember which one though..
