I'd rather just have the paper sleeve with the plastic hole window. Tell that to all your vinyl collectors. In vinyl its a must to have antistatic sleeves.

Factoid: I got a record for Xmas, brand new, Vivaldi’s Four Seasons. It came with the preferred inner sleeve, poly lined paper, square in shape, round window in the middle. The record had already torn through on one side when I first opened it. This is my issue with those sleeves, they don’t have plastic on the edges usually and will eventually fail there.

These tend to fit U.S. releases, but will be slightly bigger than Japanese jackets. They will fit just fine without bunching up but will stick out slightly. I've got some that have LASERDISC/LP printed on them that I bought years ago from Radio Shack. When I replace Elephant Condoms (the clear plastic sleeves that Pioneer used) I keep only those that are perfectly flat, in case I run out of Poly-Lined Paper Sleeves. Those that are damaged, even slightly, I recycle. Some sources also sell paper sleeves without Poly-Lining, but I don't recommend them. Mark
