I was just watching a movie on LaserDisc today, specifically Sneakers with Robert Redford. Anyway, I finished the movie, it was the end credits, on side 3 which is CAV, and it just, like, zipped right through the credits and straight to the end of the side in like, a second. What was that?!?! I've never seen a LaserDisc do that before. I checked the disc and noticed a curved scratch on the disc around where the credits would be. Guess that would've done it. Anyone else experienced a LaserDisc do this? |

Sounds like they just stored the credits as individual frames rather than video? That's a pretty odd way of doing it, you'd think there'd be a PSC for it. |

Sounds like your player is out of alinement. 3 copies of CAV "Blade Runner" (2 USA) & (1 Japan) would do that during the end credits. All 3 discs at the same spot. CLD-1070... |

The wrong disc with the wrong player can often show some kind of issue at the end of the disc particularly. If it’s just one disc I wouldn’t even bother to fix it unless it was my favorite movie. If you see a scratch that could be the issue. It can happen with perfect looking discs though. It’s just one of the many realities of LD. |

I was just thinking about a disc I recently played that had a scratch on the last side that got progressively worse towards the outside. Wish I could remember the title, but Yes! Exactly as the credits started to roll it was totally f@&$+! Perfect! |
