Hey all,

I have a few copies of Terminator 2: Judgment Day: Special Edition (1991, PSE82997-6WS) that I am selling, and I realized there are two variations. The first has the standard gold foil cover plate listed on this site and eBay, but the second copy has a blue foil plate on the cover. This one doesn't seem to be listed on LDDB, and the few on eBay I see are labeled "rare" but have no additional information about them. What's up with this copy? Everything else looks identical except for that foil plate on the face of the faux leather slipcase. Thanks for everyone's help in advance.

Cheers!

They changed the color every time they reprinted it. That alone tells you there are a bleeping ton of copies of this thing out there. Mine is red.

They don’t have different catalog numbers because they are the same thing.

Just read the notes in Terminator 2: Judgment Day: Special Edition (1991) (Uncut) [PSE82997-6WS]:

The box set went through several pressings, distinguished by the color of the logo on the front cover: silver, gold, blue, or red. The content inside was identical in all pressings.

You don't want to change the meaning of PSE82997, Aug-29-97 (Judgement Day!)
