the trading post in manchester. if your ever driving through manchester ct check out the trading post there! me and another collector i know went there yesterday, we found alot of mint discs. Before we walked in we agreed on the first see first dibs rule. Well I found a mint letterbox 2001 space odyessy disc and he yelled "YOU b*****d!" haha good times

Heh, you reminded me of a time when I was in the Navy. In 1996 the ship pulled into Hawaii and a few of my buddies and I went to this comics store called Jelly's. We were all LD collectors and anime fans so we were all looking for anime LDs. They were able to get off the ship the day before while I had duty (so I had to stay on the ship.) Thus, they not only scoped out Jelly's before, they also cleaned out the Tower Records across the street of all the good anime LD titles, much to my chagrin.

They also said that in checking out the place the day before, Jelly's didn't have any LDs, but had a lot of VHS titles. Well, in putzing around in that place, I notice a box underneath one of the comic racks. I pull it out and lo and behold, a box full of anime, horror and sci-fi titles (all genres that are relevant to my interests)! I let out a "Whoa! Check this out!" and my friends head over right quick.

Of course they try to start grabbing titles as I'm flipping through them. I swat their hands away saying, "Yo! You all had your chances yesterday, you can grab what you want after I'm done!"

Walked out of there with Vampire Hunter D, 3x3 Eyes, Giant Robo 1 & 2, The Sword and the Sorcerer and Lifeforce and a few disgruntled friends

there a record store in worcester mass called jelly's no laserdiscs there but theres actually a comic book store right next door that does lol
