I used to buy loads of laserdiscs and to this day still own a considerable number. I reckon 70% of the collection is pretty average & worth little but I have a few gems (special ed's, criterion) of which some look quite scarce now.

Many titles are still factory sealed (e.g. Doors sp.ed, holographic cover, E.T. Sp.Ed box) and I was hoping that someone on here may be able to give me some advice on best route to part company with these very nice items.

Thanks
Mike

Well, you can look at the LDDb listings to find the ones with the best sale histories, then list them individually, along with anything else you think of notable value. Then try offering the remainder on eBay or Craigslist or something, either as lots, or as a pick N discs for X price deal, which I think would give you a somewhat better return.

Of course it depends whether speed in getting rid of them, or amount of money recovered, is your main objective.

Do you have any Japan import laserdiscs they hold their value here or some of the last titles ever made?

Do you have a list of movies? Like a previous poster said, you could offer 'x' amount of movies for "x" amount of money. In fact send me a list...
