Anybody watching the Hcokey World Cup ? Canada got creamed and Norway was close to the same thing against super russia !? Awesome!

Anyway, I started to feel like watching a hockey movie just becouse of that. I wish I own Slap Shot on laser =( Youngblood are also a classic, even if the hockey play in the movie are incredible slow.

Are there any other hockey movies on LD ?

Hockey is one of the best sports in the world but gets very little coverage here in the states.
Stanley Cup is going on currently and is getting minimal new coverage or network coverage.
Baseball,Football(American),and basketball rule the roost here...
Hockey is not embraced by the Media or Major Networks.....
Hope it changes someday.

usa, canada and sweden are all out, I by clear reasons hoped sweden would win. Now I cheer for slovakia just becouse they want to win the most, always cheer for the underdogs.

back to the movies, I watch for some time a go the hockey movie "the rocket" wich is a true story about the Maurice "The Rocket" Richard in the 30s. I can really recomend this movie for everyone that is interested about hockey.

Ive heard that "miracle" should be good aswell.

These are both from 00s so no lasers here. I wish there were more hockey movies on laser. I will have to get slap shot ASAP!
