Anybody know what's on these and know of any videos on youtube or somewhere else?

Also did Sega do some too like Nintendo Power with the previews or were those only the Mega LD games?

Where did you find out about these? Seems like quite an expense to make a promo LD for video games.

I assume they ran in kiosks, which, in the long run, would probably better than tapes.

I've never heard of these things or any Sega ones either. There are lots of MegaLDs, of course.

I'm interested to know kind of content is on these Nintendo power LDs. My interests also venture into 90's/80's video games so these seem like a natural crossover.

Here's a video of someone going over a Nintendo Power In-Store display. He states the description that the laserdisc player had been removed. http://youtu.be/wFJq-52MLfA. Very poor camera work until about 1 minute in.

In the background, you can also hear what I think is the Disney animated Robin Hood.

I'll try to rewatch that later but seriously I'm not expecting a blockbuster movie quality with great camerawork but something that is steady and less making someone dizzy

7 years later and your question was answered. Brilliant. To think Nintendo advertised their products on Laserdiscs. Fascinating stuff.

This is awesome; Nintendo and Laserdiscs, two of my favorite things!
