Just today I received a batch of LDs and in it was a copy of The Color Purple. Due to the cover art I thought I was getting this copy: Color Purple, The (1985) [15733]. But instead I actually got this copy: Color Purple, The (1985) [11745]. However the cover artwork for my CAV edition is different and actually matches the AC3 edition, but the code and everything else is the same.

What I'm getting at is I'm wondering if LDDb could expand to include multiple covers for alternative cover art and/or images of the rear and even central gatefold. I know this would create a huge increase in the amount of space required, but it could be a nice addition.

Could you submit that title if the cover/contents are different?

I'd love to have more covers but it takes a long time to normalize them and add them to the /cover/repository. And the size is also an issue when doing online backups: it's taking over 2GB right now. Adding additional would take me to 4~5GB quickly.
