Does anyone here have any especially good planning skills? I'm wanting to do a documentary on laserdiscs, their collectors and how the tech behind the format led to DVD/Home Theater/HD and such.

However...

I have the planning skills of a ferret on crystal meth. :-/ I need a producer, someone who can assist me in planning, organizing, arranging interviews and (most importantly) setting up crowd-sourcing.

Listening to the commentary of "Adjust Your Tracking", the guys had a one-year period of starting the project to its first showing, with one month off post-interview period to decompress. I'd like to aim for something similar, a 12 to 18 month production period.

I really love the two VHS documentaries (the afore-mentioned "Adjust Your Tracking" and "Rewind This") and I think this could be every bit as good as those two films are.
