I bid on it before but the seller took it off the market saying he no longer had it and now he put it up again and at far more than he listed previously over a $100 more for some reason

annoying really annoying.. I was mainly interested in it since it was local too.

That seriously deserves to be reported to eBay.

Not really, they wont do anything. The guy can do anything he wants to do with it up until 12 hours before the end of the auction and even then he can sit there and remove all bidders until the end of the auction if he wants. There is nothing illegal about what he did, just was a jerk about the thing and it isnt a crime to be a jerk.

It can go both ways though too. I remember bidding on something e-bay a few years back. I had bought from the seller before, and I was outbid sky high by a 0 (which turned to -1) feedback person . During the very last min the seller cancelled all the other persons bids which supprised me, and I ended up winning at a way lower bid.

Typical of people I shy away from doing business with let alone repeat business.
Just beware is my advice...
For all those bad apples their are many more good apples......

Well, you know, the guy sold to you before and knew your money was good. I would rather that 50 bucks from someone I know then 75 from some -1 buyer any day of the week.
