Record of Lodoss War is a really nice classic OVA. Lodoss has everything you could want in a fantasy anime, cool animation/character designs, and a cool soundtrack (the ending theme is great). I wonder if the Lodoss OVA box set had any issues with rot too (it was on the same Victor label)? |

bought Professional, The (1994) [74746] from Half price so I hope it hasn't rot yet. and got Project A-KO #1 (1986) [ID8583CT] which is my favorite one but for some reason I can't stand the VS. ones. I should probably watch all them again

I really have to go to Half Price soon. I stopped at the thrift store again and copped a To Kill a Mockingbird Discovision. I can see how this stuff is like crack and it would be very rewarding to find one without rot. Both of the ones I have are rotted a little bit. Duel is rotted into the audio here and there which really kills it a little. Duel I watched alone but the wife and I also watched Somewhere in Time the other night with a little audio rot. Wow, it is a horrible phenomenon. It was super annoying and put the smackdown on my ulterior plans of watching that

got Sol Bianca (1991) [CAVS/001] coming I wished they would have continued this series as well as have the newer Legacy ones. their both awesome. |

not that I know of but I recommended Wikipedia and Anime News Network as well as LDDB. I tend to get the stuff I missed the first time or somewhat of an upgrade if I have the VHS version like Sol Bianca. Some releases are only 1 volume on LaserDisc while on VHS and or DVD there is more of the show released. I have no idea unless it wasn't a huge seller on LD like on other formats or that it was nearing the end for LD in the US. |

Hard Boiled: Special Edition #245 (1992) [CC1397L] Killer, The #284 (1989) [CC1436L] Two I've wanted for ages, I saw an ebay listing about to end for these with a little wear to the covers for $1 and figured I'd give it a shot. $7 shipped. I'm still going to get the CAV Killer eventually but I love the CLV cover. |

Also managed to get a copy of Antz for $3. |
