I just bought the complete original TMNT series on DVD for my kids. It looks like they only have a few episodes on LD and they don't show up for sale that often so a good pickup with that TMNT LD listed here at LDDB for 18.00 if you didn't pay that much.

Congrats, its a great release. Did you win the original big silver box version or the second smaller silver box version? If your copy doesn't come with all the paperwork originally included, I'll send you scans of it so you have it all.

Thanks! As far as I can tell it was the original, larger box release as it doesn't have the Janus logo. If I'm correct the Janus logo only appeared on the 2nd pressings; the smaller silver boxes. I've attached the item pic from eBay if it helps identify the pressing. I'm not sure if all the paperwork is included or not as the description was rather limited, but as I only ended up paying US $13.50 for it (plus a lot more for postage to the UK) I'm not too bothered if it isn't 100% complete. I'll let you know more about it once it arrives.

It's the big box without the Janus logo, going by the picture - hopefully it will come with all the paperwork and card that tells you the individual pressing number of the set (King Kong in the big box also came with paperwork and a pressing number card). PM me if it doesn't have the paperwork because its great, listing all the ideals of the collection, etc. it's like 4 pages of info and very cool.

Thanks for the confirmation, good to know. I've seen some examples of the paperwork online, great stuff, hoping this includes it all, if not then I may take you up on that offer. Thanks!

I have within the last week purchased the Japanese version of ''Beauty & The Beast'' and am hoping that this title turns up by Saturday 18th May.

The seller expressed that he travels to Japan fairly often and has seen ''The Sixth Day'' more than once within the last week or two.
I expressed that I am looking at purchasing this and Titan A.E and he said he would look out for these when he is next looking around the Japanese Movie shops. . . . .
He also mentioned that they were going for very reasonable prices.....I shall keep this site informed of my progress with these 2 x titles.

It turned up on Friday & then I collected from the sorting office Saturday 18th May Morning......Perfect condition throughout.

Regards to all

I'd love a copy of ''The Sixth Day'' for a good sensible price as well! Could you please tell me who the seller is? or at least inform him that I am looking for a price quote in getting myself a copy of The Sixth Day' as well please?

Have won some Laserdiscs from eBay lately;

Bon Jovi: Live from London
Led Zeppelin: The Song Remains The Same
Madonna: The Immaculate Collection
Magnavox CDV 8' Pop Sampler

Some are missing the OBI strip, and some have insert sheets. But I think I have made a decent deal since I got them for low prices. For an enthusiast, OBI is an important piece to make it complete. But then again, the price is different.

Have some hard rock laserdiscs coming up later.
Will post them in the music section and maybe take a couple of photos. :)

Thank you for your comments and hopefully this and TITAN A.E will be found.

Hello elahrairrah,

The Standard LD title and not the box set, although I wouldn't mind having the box set at some stage.

I finally got around to buying this BGC LD. I'm one step closer to having my favorite anime series complete in Laserdisc format!
I bought it from a member here.

OOOH OOOH OOOH I HAVE THAT SET. It's easily the best Laserdisc box set in my collection. I love it to pieces.

I have hundreds to watch as I just got my LD/CRT setup in my back, but I did win a couple of auctions recently. I got Lawrence of Arabia Criterion practically new for a few dollars, and I haven't received it yet but I won the Pride and Prejudice Mini Series for 3 or 4 bucks shipped

When I got home, I had this awesome Laserdisc waiting for me. It was well packed and came in great condition. I was worried about getting one disc, because the last time I did, it came broke, and that's not always the fault of the sender, because I've seen how careless USPS employees can be with packages. But this person did a great job packing it.
