At least it was the first Laserdisc that the postman could simply throw into my mailbox without having to ring my bell. hehe Anyway I was pleasently surprised that the video track was almost 100% OK. Most people write that in many cases the video tracks on PAL CDVs are no longer playable. I am really happy with this purchase. The video and audio quality are superb in my opinion.

happycube wrote: It's still available on Pioneer's site. I got two (good thing since I scratched up one pretty bad ;P ) Actually a PAL test disc by Pioneer can also still be purchased by Pioneer's official spare parts partner: http://www.etus-landgraf.de/index.php/v ... pal-detailIs it worth getting such a test disc ?

happycube wrote: http://parts.pioneerelectronics.com/part.asp?productNum=GGV1069 thanks. I wish I knew about this before I placed an order for power cord (BDP-51FD) and a remote (VSX-454). I'll keep it mind when I order some other stuff. Hopefully it will last that long whenever I do my next order.
