Very nice pickup (aside from the Sony LD player ) The Delicate Sound of Thunder is worth that much alone (despite it finally being released on DVD, the DVD is missing a track also DD 2.0 vs PCM stereo.) And damn! Looney Tunes box!

http://www.ebay.com/itm/290870993690?ss ... 1497.l2649 I've been too preoccupied to dabble in LD, aside from watching movies. But my interest is back up after scoring this. A sealed one has been totally elusive, let alone a sealed one in decent shape. Also found some RCA Pro-X44AV (Minimus 7) for a song, so I have a handful of LD set-up stuff to play with.

Just BIN these on eBay: and I haven't gotten the invoice yet, but I bet they will be $20 shipped combined. Did i do good? I like rare stuff, and i think the surfing one is NOT available in any other format. The CLASH OF THE TITANS half of it is available in VHS for about the same on Amazon.com, but not the other half...not that I could find. UPDATE: I just got my invoice:$19.55 shipped.

Picked up a decent copy of Last Man on Earth. Another good find. There is one on Amazon right now if anybody has wanted to watch/collect it. It's costly but it does look like a super nice copy.
I also bought the old Star Wars WS trilogy and Eyes Without a Face.

Wandered into a used record store out on the Main Line and was surprised to find they had some used LDs as well. Not a whole lot, but some decent titles. Picked up City of Angels, I Know What You Did Last Summer, The Ten Commandments Box Set and this odd demo disc that isn't even in the Db . . . It's the same program on each side, so it was most likely used to demo a Sony LD player at a store or something.

I just got Laser Casino, a game I didn't even know existed. From the markings, I'd say 3M had something to do with it. I also got the beautiful WEA pressing of Mad Max 2. WEA was not only the first company to encode their discs with the SuperNTSC process but also to extend the bandwidth of LaserDisc to 5.5MHz - for which they were roundly criticized by clueless consumers and the video press who had their sharpness controls set too high and their sets miscalibrated, making the discs look noisy.

I also have test 3D footage from The Incredible Shrinking Woman I'd like to see again.
