Cool titles I'm guessing without look Musketeers is the THX Laserdisc as I recall when that came out years ago. Have only see Two Jakes on Hi-Fi stereo VHS PAL rental and rather so, so enjoyed the dialouge mix and the general easy ambience. The Earthquake like effect at the end of the film I think that was oil rumbling underneath the ground. Its been about 20 years so since I've seen the film. Of course I have seen Goldfinger only have it on region 2 DVD that Ultimate sick DNR looked version. Still its still a cool film to have until I buy it someday on LD?

They look are they? I know very little about such discs hehe look for yourself: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6MMfUvm4g18I will make an update on this when I get them from the post office becouse I did actually complete the collection a little with some cool soundtracks on lp, and picture discs =) cold_sleeper wrote: I purchased them in the same shop where Johan184 got Yo-Yo Cops. Hard Off (Hachioji-Ohwada) I didnt actually buy them in hachioji, it was up at the akabane area somewhere, dont remember which one it was anymore. in Hachioji I found very few titles, one with oasis and one with bowie, dont think nI bought any movies. But I do remember that they had a couple of 100s of lds at the counter that they was going to put out later, maybe thats were you got yours ? or did you bother to check in the bins where they put half the lds backwards, with no obis and bad condition ? If was so much better before they reconstructed the layout of the store. oh wait, I did buy some sort of usa-made soft p0rn comedy, but I dont remember the title, but it did look pretty funny =) It was about a medical/military unit with some girls "involved" kind of like a parody of mash. EDIT: hehe took me 5 minutes to find the title: http://www.lddb.com/laserdisc/09535/I00 ... -407-(1982) Doesnt look like soft p0rn either, its a real hardcore p0rn0 =)

I visited this Monday, I extract them from a disorderly, which has been jammed in blue container. I will probably visit again.

Once you go back to the old SE DVD or any LD, all the original color warmth comes back along with the original audio. The CAV box is nice but it, like Thunderball, is the same master just on more sides. Two Jakes is a surprisingly effective film, just heavily flawed like Godfather III. The audio sounded great on the DVD so the LD was a natural. Yes the Musketeers is THX, looking forward to giving that a spin as I haven't seen it since childhood. This is easily my best ever ebay coup ($43 shipped) with most save two in near perfect condition: Video Essentials A Video Standard Dr. No Criterion CAV-Banned version The Great Escape Criterion CAV Brazil Criterion CAV boxset Pulp Fiction Criterion CAV boxset 2001 Criterion CAV box Monty Python and the Holy Grail Criterion Life of Brian Criterion Time Bandits Criterion Supercop Criterion Sword of Doom Criterion King Kong CLV Criterion Princess Bride CLV Criterion Close Encounters CLV Criterion

xtempo wrote: I have 2 DVDs and a tape. What exactly are the differences for Armitage? Also how do the movies work? are they sequals to the episodes? The 1st incarnation of Armitage III is the 4 episode OAV series from the early to mid 90s. The director and Pioneer decided edit the OAVs into a movie and re-dub the voices of the titular character and the male lead with some Hollywood actors, Elizabeth Berkely and Kiefer Sutherland and release them in Japanese theaters with Japanese subtitles to hopefully get it a bigger audience (the creators figured if it was dubbed in English with some American actors the Japanese public might know, they might not consider it "anime." ) So that became Armitage III: The Movie or Armitage III: Poly-Matrix. Some years later Pioneer released a one-shot OAV sequel, Armitage: Dual Matrix, haven't seen it so I know not much about it. But that's the releases of Armitage III.
