I got it mainly because I was wondering what the disc was in the pictures. Someone else bid on it in the beginning and then one day there wasn't any bids anymore and then I put a bid in and it stayed. I suppose now I could try my hand at telemarketing but being in a call center was bad and that lasted only 2 and 1/2 weeks. I don't want someone to be made at me when I am trying to help them. of course I always hate using the phone anyway.

My last buys were Heat, Reservoir Dogs, Frighteners, Abyss Collectors Edition and Easy Rider unopened. All $5 from a local record exchange. I also picked up a 126 collection at Christmas. I now have over 90 doubles and triples so i don't think i will be buying collections any more.

finally got my first LD purchase of the year: (Unfortunately I would have my third purchase as well but it seems to be lost since it shows that it is out for delivery and it has been 2 days though I do have my second player of the year a CLD-V2400:)) if you can't see it then photobucket is having problems but then again don't we all have problems to some degree? I have to use a proxy to access this LDDB for some reason.

Just bought a Pioneer CLD-D925 that came with the following disks (all NTSC, which is a bit odd since I'm in the UK):
Swimming with Sharks (1994) Copycat (1995) What's New Pussycat? (1965) Cable Guy, The (1996) Trainspotting: Special Edition: Criterion #325 (1996) Island of Dr. Moreau, The (1996) Mean Streets (1973) Rumble in the Bronx (1996) Notorious: Alfred Hitchcock's: Special Edition: Criterion #100A (1946) Time to Kill, A (1996) Twister (1996) Sleepers (1996) Blood & Wine (1996) Babette's Feast (1987) Madness of King George, The (1994) Mulholland Falls (1996) Speed 2: Cruise Control (1997) Apocalypse Now (1979) Fled (1996) All Quiet on the Western Front (1930) Chain Reaction (1996) Don Juan DeMarco (1994) Kagemusha: The Shadow Warrior (1980) Casino (1995) This Is Spinal Tap: Criterion #319 (1984) Clockers (1995) Fargo (1996) Feeling Minnesota (1996)
three or four of them are duplicates, either of laserdiscs I have in PAL or or DVDs, but mostly I don't have them, so I'm very pleased.

I just ordered a copy of "Delusion" [90786], found via eBay. I haven't seen this movie, but it seems solid and I like noirs, and I was drawn to it because the score was done by Barry Adamson (one of the best bassists ever, IMHO) with a song featuring Miranda Sex Garden. As far as I can tell, it's not available on DVD at all, in any region, in any aspect ratio.
