Wow, that's a great find. I always look twice when I see a title like The Fugitive, Unforgiven, Free Willy ect.
You just proved that that it's possible to find these anamorphic releases cheap.

I was pretty surprised to see this one. It was filed along with about 8 other Unforgiven discs and I had to do a double take on the stock number. Luckily I live near a large wealth of record stores selling LaserDiscs. I'm always on the lookout for the Anamorphic discs. This is the first one I've actually seen in person.

I wish there was a way to see if a disc was squeeze or not just by looking at a cover on eBay.

My new one:

Managed to get the DTS version of Titanic for $8 on eBay. Wasn't labeled as such but the photos did prove it was. Sounds f***ing great :D

Now I'm just missing the P&S version from my collection. Missed out on a copy a few weeks ago for a few bucks.

The earlier discs are a mess, they are covered in what looks like burn marks in places.
They play OK for what I tried tho.

For me, it was The Prisoner, Volume 10. I thought that i had the complete set; but, I was short Volume 10. This one completes the set of 17 on 17 separate LD's.

Went on eBay and bought the reissues of "Frenzy" and "Slaughterhouse Five" recently so I'd have fully watchable versions in addition to my decayed DiscoVision copies. Slaughterhouse Five was brand-new in the shrinkwrap as well and I only paid about $5 for it. Ripped it to DVD so I could loan it to my mom, as well, since we both loved the book.

After that, a bunch more DiscoVision titles.

The Adventures of Chip 'n' Dale
    At Home With Donald Duck
    The Coyote's Lament
    Kids Is Kids
On Vacation with Mickey Mouse and Friends
    The Birds
    Ruggles of Red Gap
    Slap Shot
    Animal House (4-sided CAV)
    The Jerk (CAV)

I'm not gonna lie, I'm a little obsessed...

Most are reasonably rot-free and look good. I grabbed all the Walt Disney Productions discs in one lot. I never thought a format that pre-dated me by so much could trigger feelings of nostalgia, but I remember watching a few of these when I was small on VHS tapes I got from my grandmother. Unfortunately "At Home with Donald Duck" is heavily rotted on the first side and is completely ruined. Second side, oddly enough, is perfectly watchable.

Picked up Mystery Science Theater 3000: The Movie the other day. Not rare, but cheap and a movie I like. I used to have it on DVD but I have no idea what happened to that copy.

Well I just got my first MUSE LD today, the Okinawa Underwater disc :D\

The next MUSE title in my collection will be the rare Hi-Vision Art Library Sekiguchi title.
The seller agreed on selling me his entire MUSE collection bit a bit. Since the discs are not that cheap
( 120 Euro each ) I will buy one title each month and he promised not to sell his discs to anyone else in the meatime

Ouch €120 a piece! I paid crazy sums for muse discs as well but so far I haven't been able to bring myself to buy a muse demo disc yet. They have 20-25mins of video at most. They are shot on hd digital camera so the picture is amazing tho.

120 € is still better than the 250 US $ some people are demanding on the net. I think the price is OK. Btw postage was already included in the 120 € so overall it was a good price. The seller
is located not too far away from Berlin where I live.

My ouch wasn't for the price. Its just so little content for the money. Comparing to market, €120 is very fair.

After a years worth of searching, I managed to track down a very nice copy of Cats Don't Dance. Forgettable movie for most, but I've always enjoyed it.
