Yo LDFan, that Frank Sinatra box looks awesome. I might have to try and find a copy. Thanks for taking the time to post the pictures

Yeah, I didn't know that even existed. Sigh, now I'm gonna need one. I though I was done looking for Sinatra when I finished my album collection. Now the hunt continues.....

Yeah but I have too many thrills or I'm chasing too many things. The plight of the collector. :D

ahhh but your forgetting GXP and Saint knights tale not to mention 1 pretty sammy ova and 2 pretty sammy tv series...

And which of these are on LD? Only the MGPS OVA & the first MGPS TV series, I think. Also there are the Soundfile (1 disc) & Mihoshi Special (1 disc), & a few promotional 20cm Singles. Still not anything like 50 discs!

nice set, too bad its Sinatra =) I love items like this when they put alot of work and though in the item.

Whaddya mean, "Too bad it's Sinatra"? It's Frankie Sinatra!! It's his world, we only live in it. As you can tell, I'm a fan of Sinatra, especially when he was young and still had his voice.

Thanks to a few recent ebay acquisitions, I am becoming a real player in the big anime ldbox game! I picked up the Maison Ikkoku 24 disc box from the owner who purchased it new (150,000 yen list) for just $51.00! I also received the Gatchaman 27 disc ldbox (POLV 9001/27), which is truly huge. The quality of these Japanese box sets is really great; the Gatchaman set has amazing original art on the cover of each disc in the set. It really is cool to heft these giants around, and you can't beat owning sets which cost over a thousand bucks each for next to nothing.

I admit, you beat me there. I paid $120 for mine. It was still a good deal.

i have it all setup.
the astroboy set looks amazing in the glass display case.
only part of the LD collection, have 4 more of the record cases.
they are the best if you move, you just put them on the shelf and done,
if you need to move them put the lid on and done.

each holds about 50 or so discs, depending on double sets, box sets etc.

Oh, wow. Beautiful.

I have one DJ case, which I use for carrying LDs & accessories around when I'm going to use them to show video somewhere.

That Astro Boy box may be the coolest thing I've ever seen.

I have a DJ case too, mainly used for when I'm bringing karaoke to a friend's party.

Also used when I go to a convention and bringing Laserdiscs for autographs.
