Technically an LD-Single with PAL is of course possible, but was it ever released ?? The only such record I can find in LDDb is the disc "Pepsi & Shirlie: All Right Now (1986)" (ID: 080 352-9) - but looking at its cover there is no LD Single logo, it looks to me like a normal 20 cm Laserdisc with content on one side only ...? Does anyone have or know the above mentioned disc and can confirm that it is really only 1.2 mm thick (as all LD Singles are), or is it 2.5 - 2.7 mm thick (as all normal Laserdiscs are) ? Or does anyone have an other LD Single with PAL on it?

Thank you for your answers! @edwin240170: Thank you for your confirmation!! It feels good to know that there are others with the same opinion. I hope Julien reads this and corrects the wrong information (ID: 080 352-9) in the database. About the thin 30 cm PAL disc from Sonopress, can you please tell me a title? @ffutures: An "LD Single" is a thin laserdisc with a diameter of exactly 20cm, much larger than a CD but equally thin. The normal 20cm laserdiscs exist already since 1979, but the LD Single format was introduced in 1987 and many old players built before 1988 could not grip them well unless a "thickness adapter" was attached to them. Later combi player models usually could use LD Single also without an adapter. LD Single have the same format as the thicker "normal" laserdiscs, in case of NTSC with analog and digital sound. The "CD-sized" disc you remember is a 12 cm laserdisc type called "VSD" (if it's just a laserdisc with a capacity of 5-6 minutes), or "CDV5" or simply "CDV", if it is a hybrid format consisting of a laserdisc part like the one on a VSD, plus an additional 20 minutes CD part. 12cm VSD and CDV exist both in NTSC and in PAL, there are many known titles. 12cm VSD and CDV have only digital sound in their laserdisc part, never analog sound.
