These arrived yesterday Really pleased to finally get Ghost in the shell and Spaceballs. Watched Highlander last night and to be honest if anyone is looking a copy of this film avoid this printing. The P&S is zoomed in so much in some scenes that the picture quality is nothing less than pathetic. Its also missing the scene were he finds the girl during the war and a few other scenes are cut short. Its an older laservision disc which has a cool side 1, side 2 intro screen I've never seen before but to be honest if I had of knew the quality was going to be so bad I might of paid the seller the £4 just to keep it! By contrast Silent Running which is also P&S has a great sharp picture. Maybe its just that I'm used to the full version of highlander but it is seriously bad. Had never heard of Leviathan but looks like a good alien type film so will give it a watch later.

This Silent Runner release has a cool cover but its P&S. There is another release which is a double release with one other movie. That one has the original aspect ratio. Leviathan is an amazing movie by the way. If you get it and like it, you should also look for Deep Star Six which is like Leviathan but a bit cheaper(Leviathan is cheap already to keep in mind). They are both fun movies or I just like the underwater monster movies;)

I don't know about this release but i own the first pressing from image Highlander (1986) [ID6679HB]And to my knowledge this is the theatrical release and has never been released on DVD. If the one you own is just a reissue of the first issue it's actually a good version of the film to own.

samaron wrote: Great choice! I recently got the Scream Factory blu-ray of Ghost Town. A nice upgrade from the P&S VHS I have. The VHS isn't hi-fi either, so the audio were really bad. how do you like the movie? I saw it when I was a kid in the late 80's. Boogeyman in cowboy outfit killing people. It's cool when the chick in the red Mercedes comes driving and then all hell suddenly breaks loose then the car is all demolished. Movie has some nice gory effects. It's a good horror movie. LD cost me $54 USD including shipping! I hope the disc isn't bad!?
