I finally got the Spiritual Earth Mt Fuji disc I was needing. (last one made of the 4 released) Still sealed, one of the few scenery discs with AC3 track. Mine still sealed and had a Dolby Digital insert inside in Japanese. No dialogue, just background music to the video.

I think that is the standard AC3 insert that a lot of AC3 encoded releases carried at the time.

Anyway, Spiritual Earth Mt. Fuji is a very interesting disc ! There is also a DVD release with the old Pioneer logo so I am sure it is using the same master.
It only costs 210 Yen ( used condition ) according to Amazon.jp:

I have that LD too. It came with a CLD-980 player that I got about 25 years ago. It was the first LD for me.

My latest LD for me is a CLV copy of Disney's Beauty and the Beast.

Just got Doctor Who: The Brain of Morbius; unfortunately heavily cut but I don't have it in any other format.

I'll add a photo etc when I'm working on a real computer, travelling with an iPad right now.

That is a very rare title on Laserdisc. How much did you pay for it?

Cool find, quite a scarce early UK PAL (1985?) PDO release - RRP back then was £9.99.

Had a couple of this title but years ago now. One played well with mild spotting the other was very marked below the plastic but still played well for an early pressing from PDO.

Hope yours is a good one :thumbup:.

Picked up To Kill a Mocking Bird box set and Last Days of Pompeii. Hadn't been buying any laserdiscs in a few years but have got interested in them again and enjoying a lot of them which are surprisingly excellent quality and hold up well against blu-ray in some cases play better.

Now have the lethal weapon trilogy US NTSC. If the lousy postal service hadn't lost lethal weapon 4 this summer I would have had all of them. :evil:
