That Pocket Monsters Laserdisc has a really nice gatefold. I once bought it for a friend and kind of regretted that I didn't keep it for myself, even though I've never been a fan of the franchise.

I've been after that Pokémon laserdisc for a while. I've followed a few listings and it seems to go for around 1000-3000 yen. Last it showed up, I got outbid. :( Went for just over 10.000 yen which is were I stopped, lol.

Yeah, around that is what it usually goes for. Guess the person I were competing with didn't care what it cost and were a lot more desperate to get it than me. Got so silly that I quit the bidding before it got totally crazy, but it was already out of hand by the time I did, lol. It isn't common, but not a high-value disc either.

It is a high value disc. If you get it for a low amount you just had luck. I could sell it for around 150 EUR all day long.

Ah yes the good old *good luck with that*. I lost count of how many times lowballing buyers used that line on me and always bit the dust.

I just got a Cinderella LD box set a few days ago from Amazon. I would judge its condition as being very good (I found a 3/8" tear in the cover of the enclosed booklet). All the other items were in excellent shape. Even the lithographs are still sealed.

That Memories box set is gorgeous, although it has to be seen in real life to realize that.

You are absolutely right! I got it since it has Japanese audio and English LD-G, another title to make my LD-G decoder "useful". I've heard it is three short movies, and supposedly really good too. Really nice box set that looks good on both the outside and inside. Oh, and for obi lovers: My box has the obi, it is just tucked away on the inside. ;)

It's an extremely good movie. The Magnetic Rose portion in particular. Absolutely amazing audio too.
