Painful for me but hey, pretty cool titles. Yeah, I did win it. http://www.ebay.com/itm/260949849209?ss ... 1439.l2649 I wanted from beyond the grave the most. The other stuff will pay for that disc! SO in the end I hope to have gotten that for free. Lol. |

I was interested in that lot for Gargoyle since I'm collecting Roan's. Let me know if you are interested in selling it. |

I had been wanting the Japanese Braindead for awhile but didn't want to pay the $75 most sellers were charging but in 6 months I had never seen one up for an honest auction. After Christmas I finally broke down and bought one for $70 shipped since this was my #1 holy grail. A few days after I received it someone listed one for a 3-day auction and it sold for under $35. Oh well... |

How much did it sell for though? I have seen some of those things go crazy. |

Somewhere between $30 and $35 + shipping. The funny thing is when a reasonably rare disc goes for auction it almost always ends around 25-50% of what the typical buy it now price is. I've sold a bunch of DTS discs using auctions and they always end around $12-17 while the BIN price is usually $40-70. I think the winning bid on my Eagles: Hell Freezes Over was $17. Of course it works both ways and I managed to win The Frighteners Signature for under $20 so I'm not complaining. A while back I saw the Hong Kong Braindead which seems much more rare end up around 32 GBP plus another 15 GBP shipping which is like $80 USD. A little much for me but that would be fun to own. |

Thats not bad. Less than 20 per movie. I just got a brand new ET and it got all the way up to $43.57 shipped. I told myself I wasn't gonna spend more than 20, and someone started a bid war at the last minute and I got pissed off lol |

I usually pay 3 to 4 dollars per disc unless there is something worth a grip of money, as the last auction I won was. There is about 200 dollars worth of discs there if they are conditioned right and I like that. I can sell that Halloween disc all day long at around 20 bucks. The other two I dont care about are at least 30 each. I will hopefully end up getting the one I want for free, Which is always good with me. |

the most i've paid (if i remember right) for a single disc was for the Japanese Song of the South. got it for around $65 on an auction, even that took me forever to get one at that price. |

I will let you know what shape it is in when it gets here. I want a nice copy of song of the south as well and am playing the waiting game. I know what I want and what I will pay and will eventually get it. |

I know what I want and what I will pay and will eventually get it. yeah, i made the mistake of skipping reading a line in the description on mine. the cover and the LD is in excellent shape, but it came with no obi. i was about to be mad and email the seller, but then i went back and read the description and saw that it had said 'no obi' and he had just used a stock photo. that'll teach me lol. that one is still an excellent conversation piece though. |

I don't usually even bother to explain prices or pricing to anyone who ain't into this kind of stuff as collectors' world is completely different to one where Average Joes live in, highest price I know someone has paid of original VHS tape is 3000 euros... |
