I just have to say, the more you guys run down FB the less I care to read this site.

Instead of b**ching and moaning about it why not contribute to it?

I don't get why anyone would complain about a group they're a part of on Facebook. If they don't like it, leave the group. How difficult is that?

Or leave Facebook. I did a decade ago after a couple of months of using. The most pointless thing ever.

I too lost interest in Facebook years ago, I guess some consider forums obsolete now, but they just make more sense to me.

I have friends all over the world having been in the Navy and traveled quite a bit. Facebook is a good way to keep in touch with them. At least for me anyway.

I did have contact with a few people I met while traveling through facebook, I admit it can work well for that purpose. lately though I've just used email.

Wait, what happened to the original poster, did he just want to ask a question and then never find out the answer??

Almost like asking what happened at the end of the film, buying tickets or getting it on a home format and never watching it.

Ok so I had a quick crack at FB in my first response, just because you tend to see more posts along the lines of the OP there. I did apologise for the tone of that post later too.

If anything this thread really reads as running down the OP not FB. And while iirc this post was actually well received on FB, I've certainly seen that kind of post treated as trolling there too.
