I just picked up the last American Disney animated feature film box set(It was Snow White, for those who want to know) and I was just wondering, which Disney set do you guys consider the best of the lot? My vote is goin towards the Alice in Wonderland: Exclusive Archive Collection set. It's loaded with extras, and the print of the film they used is in fantastic shape. I'm also curious to know who else out there has them all, as I'm sure I'm not the only one. |

I never checked but it looks like the only Disney box set I don't have is Hunchback. Have to add that to my list. Ron |

I managed to steal that one for 16 bucks, when all the other sets on ebay were priced around 60. It's my favorite Disney film, but its a little light on the features |

Congrats on your collection, flcl4evr. Out of the ones i have, i think i like Lion King the best. Fantasia is pretty epic too though. The thing i like about the Lion King set is the interesting lithos that were included. There are a few others that have that too, but I always liked those the best, out of what i've seen. I have the following box sets: Cinderella Fantasia Hunchback of Notre Dame Lion King Pocahontas Snow White I think that's all of them lol. |

mikeystoyz wrote: Do you count nightmare before xmas? Probably not, I'm only talking animated feature films released through Walt Disney Animation Studios. If I included Nightmare(which I have, and it is a great set) then I'd have to include other box sets from Disney, like Toy Story, and Tron, etc.......

This one looks pretty awesome too: Beauty and the Beast (1991) [PILA-1232] I'd love to find one at a good price. i wish they had made an american special edition of Beauty and the Beast. |

I think it's worth it for a rot-free release of Work in Progress! I tend to like the Disney box sets that have the "hard" supplements like the poster collection prints in Snow White, the "making of" books in Cinderella, Nightmare Before Christmas, Toy Story, the prints of the concept art in The Lion King. But I guess my favorite box set would either be Beauty and the Beast or Sleeping Beauty since they are my favorite Disney animated movies. Guess I'm too partial in that respect. I'm hoping they do a 3D conversion of Sleeping Beauty like they've done for The Lion King, Beauty and the Beast and The Nightmare Before Christmas. Or hell, just give us a re-release with 70mm prints like it was MEANT to be seen! |

I'm jealous. There was one on eBay about a year or year and a half ago, but it never got down to a price i was comfortable with. congrats on getting one of those. |
