Or any Laserdisc of the movie that has the open matte transfer?

I want to find an open matte transfer that's on a better format than VHS, and I saw at least one Laserdisc with it, the one released in Hong Kong by Intercontinental Video Ltd.

I don't know where you can find this Laserdisc.

Problem with this film in open matte is that while it was originally shot in full aperture, all the digital VFX shots are matted to 1.85:1. And there are around 700 of those in the film. In fact I believe this was the first film to get a partial 2K DI, using the by then brand new film to digital solution from Kodak (released in early 1993).

Plus the Hong Kong release will have hard coded subtitles super imposed on the picture.
