HI guys looking for any disc that has uk PAL closed captions. americans had cc japan had ld-g. but ive looked and don't see any discs with hard of hearing options like a closed captions or the 888 teletext page for the uk. I know of the bbc disc garden birds but that's cfax pages rather than a text based caption service. do the discs exsist if so what cat numbers titles are there I want to do a youtube video on Analogue closed captions but real need discs to use. hope that made sense Alan |

To my knowledge, the "Closed Captions" standard was only adopted in NTSC. They are available in the US and Japan (but I've never seen Japanese captions). There are a few TeleText discs issued in UK, it looks like less than 100. https://www.lddb.com/search.php?adv_search=*&caption=5 |

I found one in my collection and have made a video on it. its the listed Jurassic park 2disc box Alan Thanks for the list that's how I found it |

What would I need to decode that in the US? (My TV can display PAL format video.) |
