How do we request the addition of an LD publisher in the database? I have a Japanese disc manufactured by Koala Books Corporation and distributed by a company called Apollo. My disc is AC20-0008. I know there are others, like AC20-0025. Anyone ever hear of these? |

Can you provide a picture of the disc? There are a lot of discs in Japan that say “manufactured by <insert company name>” but they are actually made by a known manufacturer. 8” LD Singles were made by Pioneer Japan, Nippon Columbia or Kuraray in my experience. I checked the other titles with similar catalog numbers and found they are actually pressed by Pioneer Japan. |

If you search the other AC20- you will see one of 2 with pictures, one of them has in the comments the Koala books disc. That has a nude on the cover, does yours?? I see that its also an 8 inch, is it a karaoke or what?? Very vague posts are not the best, must be early for you Sgt. |

峠の走り屋たず is the title. Toge no Hashiri-yatazu is the romanization. Roughly translates to A Runner in the Pass. Cover of this 8" disc is dudes racing motorcycles on a rural highway. Admin just added my submission w/o the publisher. I'll email him pictures when I get the chance (working nights in Japan right now; so yes, as a matter of fact, I do need sleep). Most of the LDs I've bought in Japan say "Manufactured by Laserdisc Corporation." Is that Pioneer? |

That’s pretty cool. I don’t “get” the LD Single Lディ・プチ logo. Whatever the word play is I don’t get it. And yes, Laserdisc Corporation is Pioneer LDC. |

It all "looks" like Pioneer, but there are no mint marks on the image you've provided. Can you take a new pick, making sure the mirror area around the label is complete? |

Please excuse my past post. I believe the Koala Books, Inc. website is here. http://www2s.biglobe.ne.jp/~koala/ Unfortunately, I could not find any page regarding products released on laserdisc. The "会社概要" (Company Profile) page of this official website shows "Pioneer LDC" as a business partner. |
