I've had the USPS mis-sort packages and them veer off in weird directions - it should make its way back eventually.

I'm worried about damage. In my experience packages are very rarely lost, though it did happen to me this year where I got screwed on some old magazines.

I'll find out tomorrow if it is okay from the looks of it, so fingers crossed.

Just bought and viewed a restored widescreen version of the Gene Kelly musical "BRIGADOON".

Since part of topic last few comments, I find no "communist/socialist" undercurrents.
Although disappointed initially, my ladyfriend really enjoyed the reminiscence of viewing this on vintage LaserDisc.

The Irish/Scott myth of Brigadoon was new to my perspective.
Kind of related to the mythical place mentioned in the early Frank Capra film "Lost Horizon".
An utterly fantastic movie from the mid 1930's if anyone cares to check out.....
Setting is pre wwII China, the setting then takes place mostly in Tibet.

Take it easy peeps....

Last time I checked Canadians had a pretty good domestic welfare system, better than here anyway. Healthcare might be better but certainly couldn't be worse.

Last I checked they also had way more drug addiction and crime than here and we have a lot.

USPS sent a Neo Geo cart I bought off ebay to Austria instead of Australia. I was moving at the time so couldn't wait for the seller to resend after he got it back in Miami, refunded instead. In my dreams I still play NAM 1975...

Metal Slug is better, but it's an okay game.

Edit: LD arrived safely. It was double boxed and braced with cardboard so close to triple boxed. Never ordered from this eBay seller before so I had no idea what to expect.

LD is the US release of the 3x3 Eyes OAV.

Hell yeah.

It's honestly the series that tempts me to get one but then I just play it emulated instead and I'm satisfied.

Dammit, now I have to chime in.

Yes please Metal Slug. I remember just watching the demo play just for fun when I didn't have quarters. The animation is just so damn good.

Emulation is ok I guess, but I'm a snob. Besides, Neo Geo has lots of great games.

Truly that is a glorious GiTS set. One of my favorite LDs when it comes to my own collection.

There's nothing locally where I am either. Last time I went to Melbourne I didn't even bother looking around, the city is just horrible now.
