Wasn't all that interested in it so I didn't bid, but considering it went for measly five bucks, I kinda wish I had. I have that release, among others. Is that $5usd? I paid $3aud for mine. The later, but still fairly early P&S [SF098-1103] has a nicer cover, [PILF-1236] cover is pretty much the same again but 1991 release.

takeshi666 wrote: I just like the MCA style cover on that earlier release (and you can get the making of disc with a matching cover), also it's probable that those two you linked utilize the '86 home video audio mix that was created for the special collection release but the older one would use the theatrical mix so there'd be some additional curiosity value there as well. Yeah I also wanted it for the old style cover I've been trying to grab as many different SW releases as I can, even if they're just reissues Mostly I'm paying $3aud for them, including that TESB SE I got. I would like to get definitive set too but idk if 'll ever find it cheap enough.

My copy of Heat https://www.lddb.com/laserdisc/12211/PILF-7349/Heat turned up from Mark in SA. Watched straight away. I love that movie, the firefight and the Michael Mann '90s version of LA. Perfect way to watch it on LD/CRT with picture perfectly tweaked to eliminate Japanese subs and show the full picture thanks to DVDO Sound is amazing on this disc too.

Thanks. $60aud for the Apes box. Not sealed but all there, I can't fault it tbh. It was from his $140 box sets listing but he wouldn't budge on the price, not even $5 off. I ordered some $3 titles as well and managed to get Judge Dredd for free. Postage was just a tad more than usual though - $25 If he gets another one that is a little worn or something it might be cheaper I guess.

It also has the Guns N' Roses video that was not included on the Ultimate DVD - not sure if it is on any other releases. Cheers
