Its on the Live! LDs actually. Its the video with new animation made for it, I can't remember the song, whereas the second one is just the Hurricane video made from episode clips. So yes, the CDV will only turn my player into an LFE possibly exploding it and not actually give me new content. Even I do that crap sometimes. :)

Perhaps worse are:

Kaze no Tani no Nausicaa (Nausicaa of the Valley of Wind): Seven Days of Fire [TKFA-55004]

and

Tenku no shirou Laputa (Laputa, the Castle in the Sky): Tenku no sho [TKFA-55005]

Which are just music from the films with panning shots over background art, not even the good stuff. The Nausicaa one does have some nice shots of the tapestry but otherwise these things are really weird and pointless. I like the idea of this kind of release, like Gundam Evolve maybe?, but these suck. Despite this I still want the Totoro and Kiki ones because all merch of that era is precious to me now.

Both are VSDs, btw, no CD section.

Yeah sometimes it is just fun to have oddball stuff.

On the BD it has both Hurricane vids and that weird Bali thing.

Love those older Disney ones like that Mickey and Donald cartoons in the center, they were hard for me to find as they had early pressings of cartoons.
Always felt those and the gold series are some of the best, now I need to watch them again.

That version of Snow White is amazing. I guess it’s the only version on LD, right? Other than the CAV of the same thing? Video quality is superb. If the Blu-ray is too stable for you then you want that LD.

I was watching the Work in Progress B&B recently. It’s fun. It’s too bad they never did this with a real Disney movie though, or even Oliver and Co. Something pre-CAPS and preferably pre CG. A 101 Dalmations WiP would be great to see.

How is B&B not a a real Disney movie? Though the new is rather questionable but at least Emma Watson is now a Disney Princess.:D

I love the old Disney cartoons too, the one I'm really looking forward to see is "Mickey's Trailer", damn that one brings back memories, was always my favorite.

The B&B WIP was a very interesting watch, that sorta thing is right up my ally.

I've seen someone comparing the LD of Snow White to the BD, and I actually was leaning toward the LD as far as preference. That's why I got it.

Robin Hood is a great movie (also have the LD). Always loved the crap out of that beginning song.

Didn't Roger Miller sing the music in Robin Hood??
I need to watch that one again.

I meant pre-desperation Disney. Confident Disney. Nothing made with CAPS or after is a “real” Disney movie to me except possibly Lilo and Stitch. Way too much economizing and way too much Elton John, Rice, whatever. Emperors New Groove, Atlantis, it’s all embarrassing.

The Disney Princesss are satanic. They’re all drawn wrong so they can shill the same pink glitter backpacks. It’s revolting.

I should have realized that. Disney has changed way too much. I've stopped caring about them and Pixar animated films though I hardly care anymore about new films much these days. There are also other things that have glitter but I really wouldn't know about that though.

The movie about the magic island people with the raft and the hook, whatever that was, it shows progress. At least that chicken isn’t voiced by Chris Tucker. It’s super hard for me to get excited about anything CG honestly. I can see there wasn’t “an animator” but rather 100 people working on every frame in one capacity or another. Designing new software to make the hair, whatever. That kind of thing. It’s just anti-human to me. I enjoy seeing the work of artists more than technicians and I know that any high budget animation requires 10 droogs for every talented named artist but these computer movies are like 150 to 1 or more, with 1000s more in marketing.

they should never have given up on cell animation. Anyway the movie is called Moana.
