Dang, those are some sleazy friggn websites! Seriously, http://detroit.craigslist.org/search/ss ... k=&maxAsk=I'm in the same area as you (Ypsi) and I'm telling you the LD pickings are pretty good. Just keep checking. It helps to have an iPhone app or something. I personally wouldn't buy any LDs from people who don't know what they have. Novices have no clue what condition is, how to ship things, no way to play test stuff, and they often act surprised when you explain that the disc is rotted, shattered, or just fell out of the box during shipping. Its nothing but heartbreak with noobs. And Goodwill...they can't even ship records properly, from my experience, and records are a WAY more durable than LDs.

How about "Jeff's Used Movie Finder" for a real blast from the past: http://www.usedmoviefinder.com/ ? This thing has been around for ages, and still seems to turn up laserdiscs when you check the LD option. This search engine definitely picks up some oddball, obscure sites selling LDs if nothing else.

Very simple to create a "recipe" that will search craigslist in a certain city for keywords. It searches every 15 minutes and if something comes up, you get either an email or text message (depending on preference.) I've been using it for job searching.

Ok, I didn't see anything else indicating that it was even more than one disc. I kind of want this stupid thing...

It's still turning up LDs on pages like this http://www.laserlibrary.com/ that still think it's 1999. Anyone order from one of these time warp sites successfully in 2020?
