http://www.ebay.com/itm/LASERDISC-LASER ... _826wt_932 JUST DAMN. All 3 James Bond criterions with the banned commentary. That's the cheapest I've ever seen it! Any of you guys bidding on these? I would, but I'm already over extending my budget on some japanese discs ending tonight. |

I can't tell from the picture, but i'm not sure these are the ones with the commentary. Criterion released CAV and CLV versions of these. the CAV ones have the commentaries. if these are the CAV ones, that is an excellent price at the moment ($45). Thats what i paid just for my CAV copy of From Russia With Love. I'd bid on it, but i already have them lol. and i wouldn't spend that much for the CLVs, even though it might be worth it |

nevermind, just saw where the seller answered a question about it saying that they are the 2-disc versions, which are the CAV versions. VERY good price. |

They went cheap. I watched them but did not plan on bidding. I have them. |

I originally bid on them, plus about 8 other lots, 28 discs in total. The seller was in the states and I'm in Canada, the shipping was listed as $11 to Canada per lot, however some lots were 1 disc, some were more than 8. So I sent an email asking how many discs could be combined to be shipped internationally for $11. The seller missed the "international" part and told me that they could put about 18 discs in a box for about $11 I figured even if the lots combined went for $40 or so (which they did with the exception of that Bond lot, at one point I was the lead bidder at $15 with less than 5 hours to go) plus $20 shipping it would still be a great deal. Turned out to ship 6 discs to Canada would have cost between $30 and $50... so I had to have all my bids cancelled |

i think maybe Sunday is a bad day to have your auction end on (bad day for the seller i mean, excellent day for buyers). usually when i get major deals, the auction has ended on a sunday. earlier today i got a copy of Lion King, The: Deluxe Edition (1994) [4613 CS] for $1.04, plus something like $4.50 shipping. i already have a copy of it, so i'll be selling it. |

Sunday is a terrible day for sellers honestly. Right now I just picked up 5 japanese discs without obi strips for 12ish plus shipping |

The way to tell the 2 Bond Criterion versions apart form just the covers is how far the black banner on top extends. If it goes all the way to the right/left sides it's the CLV version, if it stops before the corners it's the CAV version w/ commentaries. |
