Got this thing in a lot off of eBay not long ago, and decided to digitize and upload the thing since I thought it was neat. The disk came in a 3M sleeve, and one side was just white plastic, the whole thing played pretty well for how scuffed up it was though. If anyone has any more information or possible pictures of the Kiosk, it would be appreciated. Audio starts at the 1:55 mark, but I enjoy the flight shots leading up to it |

Very interesting! I've just looked a few of these things up (sorry if Americans already knew all this). PSA (Pacific Southwest Airlines) was a budget airline which operated from 1949 until 1988, when it merged into USAir (which in turn renamed to US Airways and then merged with American Airlines in 2013). Their Expressway brand was used for flights between Los Angeles and San Francisco, and their automated ticket machines were introduced on this route in autumn 1978. I imagine this must have been the disc for the one in LA since they mention SF as the destination. However, the brand was not introduced until 1985 so this must postdate that but predate the 1988 USAir merger. There is a modern airline owned by AA called PSA Airlines, but this is not the same airline - it was renamed from Jetstream International Airlines to protect the former PSA trademark. |

So you're the one who outbid me. Well I got to watch one of them anyway, so no real loss. |

Seeing these kiosk (or video game) discs in the order they are on the disc instead of how they are used is so cool. |

I guess its time for me to figure out how to copy the few demo discs I have and post on YT, one has classic car restoration with an attention to detail program. The other disc has customer service with Bob and Ray a comedy duo from back in the day. Would be fun to watch them again, oh I think one also has a Disney World behind the scenes with customer service or how to repair, something like that if I still own that disc? |

Oh my word, I love Bob and Ray. If this has exclusive Bob and Ray stuff on it I’d love to see it. |

Interesting. The video quality is very good and the disc appears to have zero rot which is not something that should taken for granted with an early 3M disc. Did you use that cheap device for approximately 15 $ to capture the video ? That is cool. What software did you use ? |

Very cheap, very simple. Just wanted it online for preservation purposes. I also agree the lack of rot was very surprising. The other Oddity I uploaded Kao Sofina Video Brochure had a fair bit- as well as the other one I haven't captured (Voyager Museum) because of an abridged version existing on the official NASA YouTube page. I also have some very extreme audio distortion on at least one of the Ford Laserdiscs I own. |

I mean, generally speaking. I've always wanted to try streaming a laserdisc and watch a movie with friends that way. Unfortunately I doubt any of my friends share the same kind of interest so nobody would watch it anyway... |
