Good evening. I really need your help, dear forum users!
The disk sticks to the inner envelope, the plastic of the end itself is soft, the coating easily scrapes almost to the aluminum end. I suppose there may be a beating on the axis of rotation due to the displacement of the center of gravity ....
What causes the edge of the disc to melt?
Overheat? Degradation over time?

Hi there, just out of interest what is the disc manufacturer? I know discs manufactured by 3M are known for this more than others.

Good evening. Mostly TOLW wheels. I did not encounter a similar situation, a member of my site (About Laser Disks) wrote about this
