Found a pristine copy of Sleepy Hollow recently.
Dealer packaged more then adequately by posting LD Platter outside of jacket to protect fragile seams from jarring and dropping while in transit.

Being a big Tim Burton fan, this will be a nice gem for the grotto.
Christopher Walkin, Casper Van Dien, Christina Ricci, and the one and only Johnny Depp.
The headless horsemen yarn with a Tim twist !

Cheers to the membership !

Which The Thing? John Carpenters The Thing or the original black and white movie? If it's the John Carpenters one which release? Look up the release on lddb and tell us the serial number. I believe there's two widescreen releases and I'm unsure if there's anything different about the film print. One is Criterion's I believe which is the one I don't have and the other is probably the company that made the movie. I think that's a Universal movie. The other release is a 4:3 non-widescreen release.

Recently bought these two from two different sellers from lddb. These are stock photos. The Fifth Element is the Pioneer Edition and seller listed it rot-free because the Pioneer pressing apparently didn't have any issues with rot. Now here's a real shocker to most of you. I'm not sure I've ever sat through The Fifth Element movie. I've caught parts of it when it came on tv and I know my Father enjoys it. My Father is definitely a fan of Bruce Willis and has seen this movie. This movie is more or less for him and since I read online that this release is suppose to be gorgeous looking I thought this would be a good one for him.

Coincidentally I ran that very same version of The Fifth Element on my home theatre setup a couple of nights ago and I can confirm that the video transfer is truly superb, looks terrific on the cinema screen and even though I’m no fanboy of Dolby Digital 5.1, on this release I’d have to admit it really does kick a**

Not a hint of rot detected either!

The Crow is a very soft image and doesn't look great on lcd/led tvs. It however looks great on crt with my cld-99 through s-video taking advantage of the 3d comb filter built into this player. I however did not test this with my cld-99 on an lcd/led tv. I tested it with my cld-3080 which did not read it well. On side B it had issues reading it until I manually flipped the disc so side 2 was read by side A. I do not know what's going on with this weird CLD-3080 player. I think I'm going to have to take it apart for the millionth time and I despise taking this player apart. Each time I take it apart the paper on the side crumbles all over the place. I hope that's not important for the player to function. I don't even know what this black paper is suppose to be.

https://www.reddit.com/r/LaserDisc/comments/1c03q9b/the_crow_laserdisc_screen_captures/

I did capture it with my cld-3080 and I turned brightness down which may have actually cost the details at spots. I was trying to make it look more dark black but I may have cost it the overall quality. I plan on capturing it with my cld-99 which might give it a better digital look overall. It's one of the reasons I did not post the screens in the screen section on lddb but I did upload it to reddit but I was embarrassed by how the screens looked. I don't think this looks particularly good. Looks muddy at spots. Obviously when the fact is close up you can see details better but from a distance it looks hard to distinguish details.
