I might have worse luck with early Pioneer Japan than I do with DADC USA. Their pressing of From Russia With Love (first LD issue) had a side 2 with analog audio distorted by rot. Needless to say, that disc went in the garbage.

The only disc with noticeable rot is The Sure Thing ( early 80s Japanese release ). But still not even in the same universe like I had when I was new to collecting that got movies like: Air Force one, Double team and Men in Black. Those were pretty much unplayable.

The worst in my collection is this: Beethoven: Symphonies 5 & 6: Wiener Philharmoniker: Bernstein (1979) [072 101-1]

It's another PDO Blackburn disc (of course). The picture is a mass of snow and the digital soundtrack is completely intolerable, a minefield of bangs, pops and silence.
